Research expertise (up to 100 words)

Principal area of scientific activity lies in materials characterization and development for applied electrochemistry, i.e. electrochemical sensors and biosensors, corrosion science, water splitting, energy storage. Focused on rapid manufacturing, 3D printing, LIG's and diamondized electrodes. Surface analysis and engineering specialist, focused on studies related with complex charge transfer through heterogeneous electrode interfaces. Developing modern on-line impedimetric tools for non-stationary processess monitoring.

Keywords (3 to 5)

electrochemistry; 3D printing; sensors; corrosion; advanced materials

Scientific achievements:

Led multiple interdisciplinary research projects related with modern materials degradation routes, 3D printing technologies, electrochemical sensors and water splitting. Recently developed advanced molecular diagnostic method based on multisinusoidal impedance analysis for specific analysis in real environments (example: 10.1016/j.bios.2023.115561); new electrochemistry-dedicated 3D printing filaments (10.1007/s00604-023-05940-7) and activation tools (10.1016/j.apsusc.2021.149788) among others.

Research expertise (up to 100 words)

Materials engineering, including thermochemistry, of ion conducting materials mainly for protonic ceramic electrochemical cells. Trained calorimetrist, mainly specializing in high-temperature DSC and TG of ceramics.

Keywords (3 to 5)

hydrogen, thermal analysis, ion conductors

Scientific achievements:

My main interests in the last decade were thermodynamics and the structure of materials for energy conversion with special interest put on proton-conducting ceramics. My research is focused on revealing a link between thermal, structural, and transport properties.
